yeah, the mani mani statue was annoying.. it had ness's powers! getting to it is difficult too.. you gotta fight a bunch of Krankens along the way. even though you fought the kracken as a boss not long before. i also remember thge oh-so-useless birdmen. and ness's hat... lol i remember that particular part of the game [too] well.
